Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 27
2 things David does in the Tabernacle of David are: 1) gaze on the beauty of the Lord (v.4) and 2) sacrifice with shouts of joy, sing and make music to the Lord (v.6). 2 blessings he receives there are: 1) God would keep him safe (v.5) and 2) his head would be exalted above his enemies (v.6).

Devotion 2 of 2: Ps 28
In v.1, David asks God not to turn a deaf ear to him! I got blessed by this verse because I realized that David felt like I feel at times, too! Sometimes I feel God is turning a deaf ear to my prayers, too, as the answers don’t come although I’ve been praying for a long time! But, like David, I want to confess v.6: Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy. Amen!
