Devotion 1 of 2: Prov 15
Let’s look at v.1, “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” Because we in the church do many things together, there are many opportunities for conflicts to arise. One reason is because everyone is different, thinks differently, and does things differently.
So, conflicts cannot be avoided. The question then becomes, “How can we resolve conflicts when they occur?” One key is to obey this verse. Talk softly, not harshly. Respect the other person as if he/she were Jesus, because, according to Matt 25:41-46, he/she is!
Believe that every person is trying his best to be a good human being. He might have weaknesses, but he is trying! So, believe that! Remember that the LDC will be a united church. If we do not learn to love one another, we will not be part of that revival church!

1節を見てみましょう。「 柔らかな答えは憤りを静める。しかし激しいことばは怒りを引き起こす。」教会では多くのことを共に行うため、衝突が生じる機会が多くあります。その理由の一つは、皆がそれぞれ異なり、考え方も行動も異なるからです。
そのため、衝突は避けられません。そこで疑問となるのは、「衝突が起こった時、どうすれば解決できるのか？」ということです。一つの鍵は、この聖句に従うことです。厳しく話すのではなく、優しく話しましょう。相手をイエスのように尊重しましょう。マタイ25:41-46によると、接触する人はみなイエス様です！
すべての人が良い人間になろうと最善を尽くしていることを信じましょう。弱点はあるかもしれませんが、努力しているのです！ですから、そのことを信じましょう！終末教会は一致した教会になることを忘れないでください。もし私たちが互いに愛し合うことを学ばなければ、私たちはあのリバイバル教会の一員にはなれません！
Devotion 2 of 2: Luke 15
There are 3 parables in this chapter about losing and then recovering something of value: a sheep (v.1-7), silver coin (v.8-10) and son (v.11-32). The theme of these parables is the same as the whole Bible, which is God losing mankind to sin and then recovering him through the cross.
We can call the theme of the Bible restoration—how mankind lost his relationship to God and then how it was restored through Jesus. Restoration is also the theme of Israel’s history as they got separated from Canaan, their Promised Land, 3 times, and were restored 3 times!
And, finally, restoration is also the theme of church history. The 1st church had God’s presence, but gradually lost it and fell into the Dark Ages. But since 1507, God has been restoring the church so that in the endtime it will be a fully mature, revival church displaying the glory of God to the world.

この章には、価値あるものを失い、そして取り戻すという三つのたとえ話があります。価値あるものとは、羊（1-7節）、銀貨（8-10節）、そして息子（11-32節）です。これらのたとえ話のテーマは聖書全体と同じで、神が人類を罪によって失い、そして十字架を通して取り戻すというものです。
実は、聖書全体のテーマは、人類が神との関係を失い、そしてイエスを通してそれを回復する、つまり回復と呼ぶことができるのです。回復は、イスラエルの歴史のテーマでもあります。約束の地カナンから三度引き離され、三度回復されたからです。
そして、回復は教会史のテーマでもあります。初代教会は神の臨在と栄光を持っていましたが、徐々にそれを失い、暗黒時代に陥りました。しかし、1507年以来、神は教会を回復させ、終わりの時に完全に成熟したリバイバル教会として、神の栄光を世界に現すようになるのです。
