Devotion 1 of 2: Prov 3
V.9-10 say, “Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.” We honor the Lord with our possessions by giving the firstfruits (tithe) to Him. This signifies that we recognize that everything we have comes from God. When we do that, God then blesses our life with abundance!
Endtime application: When AC appears, he will force the world to take his mark or not be able to buy or sell (Rev 13:16-17). To Christians, money will have no value as we won’t be able to use it! Let’s learn now to give generously to God’s work so that when we are cut away from the global economy, we won’t suffer too much loss!

Devotion 2 of 2: Luke 3
This chapter describes the ministry of John the Baptist. He prepared the way for Jesus’ 1st coming (v.4), who would baptize the church with the Holy Spirit and fire (v.16). Furthermore, in 1:17, a prophecy said John would have the spirit and power of Elijah! So, he was the 1st fulfillment of the Malachi 4:5-6 prophecy of Elijah coming before the day of the Lord.
Endtime application: The Malachi prophecy will have a 2nd fulfillment in the last days. This time the spirit and power of Elijah will be upon the LDC! Let’s seek the Lord and dedicate ourselves to Him so we can become the Elijah Church of the endtime to prepare the way for Christ’s 2nd coming!

この章はバプテスマのヨハネの働きについて述べています。彼は、教会に聖霊と火でバプテスマを授けるイエスの来られる道を備えました（4、16節）。さらに、1章17節には、ヨハネがエリヤの霊と力を持つという預言があります。つまり、ヨハネはマラキ書4:5-6にある、主の日の到来前にエリヤが来るという預言の最初の成就者でした。
