Devotion 1 of 2: 2 Chron 30
Hezekiah restored the Passover, which had not been kept for a long time (v.1, 13, 21). Last record of the feasts was 1 Ki 12:32-33, when King Jeroboam of northern Israel made a false feast on 8/15 like the feast in Judah, probably Tabernacles on 7/15, under King Rehoboam. It was likely that the feasts faded out in Rehoboam’s time because of the influx of pagan idolatry. Rehoboam reigned in 931-913 BC, while Hezekiah reigned in 729-687 BC, making a gap of about 200 years of no feasts.
Endtime Application: We need to understand the spiritual significance of the feasts of Israel and how they apply to the church! Passover (Salvation) was restored through the Reformation in 1517, and Pentecost (Baptism of the Holy Spirit) was restored through the Azusa St. Revival in 1906. Tabernacles will be restored through the LDR in the near future!

Devotion 2 of 2: 2 Chron 29
This chapter describes King Hezekiah’s reign in Judah. He was a good king who cleansed the temple of rubbish and idols (v.3-19) and restored it proper functioning (v.20-30).
Restoration Lesson: Hezekiah is a type of the many revivalists like Luther, Wesley, etc., that God has used to cleanse and restore the church. When the church is fully restored, it will fulfill its true calling to be the LDC to bring about a world-wide LDR!
