Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 27

This chapter is a lamentation for Tyre’s destruction (v.2). Tyre was a beautiful city (v.3) because of the magnificent cedar, fir and oak trees nearby that she could use and because she could acquire many exotic materials from other countries through trade, for which she was famous (v.5-7, 12-24).
Trade will be one way the great harlot, Babylon, grows wealthy in the last days and commits fornication with other nations (Rev 18). Recently, trade has become a huge problem as the U.S. has suddenly raised trade tariffs one-sidedly to unprecedented levels. I think AC might become the world’s leader by solving trade problems!
Let’s remember that AC will control the world’s economy and buying and selling by using his mark. Let’s prepare ourselves to never compromise and take his mark!

Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 27

This chapter is about the trial and crucifixion of Christ. During the trial, Pilate tried to release Jesus, but the multitude cried out for His crucifixion (v.16-23)! So Pilate reluctantly gave up, but washed his hands to show his innocence in this decision (v.24).
That’s when the Jews shouted, “His blood be on us and on our children” (v.25). But in 70 AD, this decision brought judgment upon all of Judah when the Jews rebelled against Rome’s oppression and were crushed, killed and sold as slaves throughout the Empire!
This episode shows the severity of having someone’s blood on our hands! Ezek 33:1-9 warns that if the watchman doesn’t warn of danger, and the people are killed, their blood will be on his hands (6).
This is one reason I have taken a stand against the pre-trib rapture teaching. I believe that we will face AC in the near future, and if I don’t warn Christians, their blood will be on my hands! Let’s study the endtime, and understand the error of the pretrib rapture teaching, so we can warn our beloved fellow Christians!
