Devotion 1 of 3: Ps 108

SUN, 11/15 (1/3)
PS 108: Free sharing!
V.13 says, “Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies.” This verse shows us how we can achieve victory against our spiritual enemies, Satan and fallen angels. In our own strength, we have no hope of winning because they are more powerful than us.
But through God, we have been made mighty warriors of the cross, and we can defeat Satan! Let’s believe God’s Word and never surrender but continue to battle for the souls of Japan until we tread down our enemies and bring revival to this nation!

Devotion 2 of 3: Rev 6

This chapter is describing events that happen in the 7-year tribulation by using the symbol of 7 seals.
1st seal (v.1-2): A rider on a white horse with a bow and crown, went out conquering. The rider on the white horse is Jesus because He also rides a white horse in Rev 19:11-16. He has a bow (power) and crown (authority) and went out conquering (winning the world through the LDR (T1)!
2nd seal (v.3-4): A rider on a red horse (AC) took peace from the earth with people killing one another (Will force his rule, worship and mark on the world; many will rebel; will kill millions who don’t obey; will cause people to betray to death family and friends who don’t obey). He was given sword (power to control world).
3rd seal (v.5-6): A rider (AC) on a black horse with scales selling wheat and barley (power over economy and trade). AC will force people to take his mark, and if don’t, they cannot buy or sell (Rev 13:16-17). Don’t harm oil and wine (Don’t harm rich nations? ME nations?)
4th seal (v.7-8): A rider on a pale horse symbolizing Death and Hades. He killed 1/4 of mankind with sword, hunger, death and beasts. AC will execute and starve 2B people who don’t worship his image or take his mark. Some will be driven out of homes because no mark and be killed by beasts.
5th seal (v.9-11): Martyrs crying, “How long?” Answer: Until number of martyrs completed. At end of T1, LDC will be killed by AC. Then Christ will appear in the air, and dead in Christ will rise then be raptured, and those alive will also be raptured.
6th seal (v.12-17): I believe this seal reveals T2 events, like an earthquake, sun turns black, moon turns bloody; stars fall; sky recedes like a scroll; mountains and islands moved out of place; everyone from kings to slaves hide in caves and mountains; say to rocks to fall on them and hide them from wrath of the Lamb. The last 2 refer to the 2nd Coming.
Let’s seek God to understand Revelation and His endtime plan so we can work together with God to fulfill His plan!

Devotion 3 of 3: Matt 2

In this passage we read about the Wise Men from the East who came looking for Jesus to worship Him (v.1-2). They probably came from the area of Iran or Iraq. They likely were astrologers because they observed a star appearing that indicated the King of the Jews had been born (v.2).
On their way to Bethlehem, v.9 says, “…the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.” The star was not like any star that we see in the night sky because it apparently led the wise men to the very house where Jesus was! V.11 says, “And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him.”
A star that can lead to a specific house is a supernatural phenomenon! I believe God created the star to guide the wise men to Jesus, and after its mission was accomplished, it disappeared. And how could it lead the wise men to Jesus’ house? I think perhaps a barely visible shaft of light emanated from the star to touch the house, or horse’s stable, where Jesus lay. Without something like that, the star would be too high and far away for the wise men to know which house Jesus was in.
So, a supernatural phenomenon was needed to guide the wise men from the East to where Jesus was! Recently in Iran, there are reports that supernatural dreams and visions are leading many people to Christ! In the last days, God will once more use supernatural phenomenon to open millions of people’s hearts to find Jesus and get saved! Let’s believe it and pray for it to happen in Japan!
