Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 76

V.1-3 are a picture of the Tabernacle of David, which was located at Mt. Zion in Jerusalem. King David also built his palace there. Because of the tabernacle, God revealed His glory and built up Israel’s Golden Age (v.4-12).
Today, tourists can visit the City of David in Jerusalem. They can tour the ruins of David’s palace. There is a Tabernacle of David House of Prayer close by which is always open for Christians from around the world to come and pray and worship. Let’s believe the fallen spiritual Tabernacle of David (church) will be fully restored in the LD!

Devotion 2 of 2: 2 Thess 3

Paul writes 3 times in this chapter about people to be careful about or to avoid! They were: Unreasonable and wicked men (v.2), Every brother who walks disorderly and not according to Paul’s tradition and who do not work (v.6-12), and Anyone who does not obey Paul’s word in this epistle (v.14).
Let us love our neighbor as our own self, but let us also be aware that there are sometimes wolves among the sheep and tares among the wheat! Let’s not be so loving that we open ourselves to deception or sin!
