Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 54
This psalm is a prayer with 3 parts. V.1-3 are a cry to God for help against oppressors who were seeking David’s life. V.4-5 are a confession of faith that God will repay enemies for their evil. And v.6-7 are a praise to God for answering and delivering David from all troubles.
Like David, let’s also cry out to God for help in our daily prayers, confess by faith that He will work, and then thank Him for His answer!
Devotion 2 of 2: Gal 6
V.9 says, “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” This is the encouragement we need, especially in Japan, in this time just before the LDR! Christians have struggled for centuries, trying to establish Christianity in this land, but always seemingly hitting a brick wall!
But God is speaking to us through v.9 to not give up and “throw in the towel.” If we don’t lose heart and if we continue to sow in faith, God says we will reap a harvest! Let’s continue believing for revival in Japan!
