Devotion 1 of 2: Prov 11
V.14 says, “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” This verse is saying that one-man rule destroys a nation, but ruling with wise advisors brings success.
Two countries today that are examples of this are Russia and the USA. Because of Putin, Russia has been at war with Ukraine, but Ukraine’s drones are destroying Russia’s economy. Because of Trump, illegal tariffs and the Iran war have driven gasoline and goods up, and the U.S. is no longer respected as leader of the free world.

14節には、「指導がないことによって民は倒れ、多くの助言者によって救いを得る」とある。これは、独裁主義による政治は国を滅ぼすが、知恵ある助言者たちとともに治めるなら成功をもたらす、ということを語っている。
このことを示す現代の例として、ロシアとアメリカがある。プーチンのために、ロシアはウクライナとの戦争を続けているが、ウクライナのドローンはロシア経済を破壊しつつある。トランプのために、違法な関税やイランとの戦争によってガソリンやその他の物価が上昇し、グリーンランドを奪うなど、常識外れの主張故に、アメリカはもはや自由世界の指導者として尊敬されなくなっている。
Devotion 2 of 2: 2 Cor 11
Paul warns us in v.13-14, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.”
The warning has applied to all ages, but it will especially apply in the endtime because the AC and False Prophet will do miracles like rising from the dead and calling fire down from heaven (Rev 13:3, 13). Their greatest sign will be making AC’s image and then making it come alive and talk (R 13:14-15). Let’s not be deceived!

13-14節で、パウロは次のように警告する。「こういう者たちは偽使徒であり、人を欺く働き人であって、自分をキリストの使徒に変装しているのです。しかし、不思議なことではありません。サタンさえ光の御使いに変装するのです。」
この警告はあらゆる時代に当てはまるが、とくに終わりの日に当てはまる。なぜなら、反キと偽預言者は、死からよみがえることや、天から火を降らせることなどの奇跡を行うからである（黙13:3、13）。彼らの最大のしるしは、反キの像を造り、その像に息を与えて、生きて語らせることである（黙13:14-15）。惑わされないようにしよう。
