Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 36
V.7 says, “How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.” There is a famous story of how, when a fire broke out on a farm, a hen didn’t run away but gathered her chicks under her wings to protect them.
When firefighters put the fire out and were inspecting the damage, they found the charred dead body of the hen. And, to their shock, they found her chicks all alive under her burnt body! This is how God protects us in the many dangerous situations of life! Praise His name!

7節にはこうあります。「神よ。あなたの恵みは、なんと尊いことでしょう。人の子らは御翼の陰に身を避けます。」ある農場で火事が起きた時、雌鶏が逃げずにひな鳥たちを翼の下に集めて守ったという有名な話があります。
消防士たちが火を消し止め、被害状況を調べていると、雌鶏の焼け焦げた死体を見つけました。そして、驚いたことに、焼け焦げた雌鶏の体の下で、ひな鳥たちが皆生きていたのです！このように、神は人生の様々な危険の状況の中で私たちを守ってくださいます。神の御名をほめたたえましょう！

Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Cor 4
Paul claimed in v.1 that he was a steward of the mysteries of God. I searched and found 6 mysteries that Paul was a steward of. They were the mystery of: 1) Gentiles also can be saved (Eph 3:3-9). 2) Salvation through the cross of Christ (1 Cor 2:7). 3) Many will be raptured alive (1 Cor 15:51).
4) Christ and the church will marry (Eph 5:23, 32). 5) God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Col 2:2). 6) The man of lawlessness will appear (2 Thes 2:7). Let’s study these mysteries that God revealed to us through Paul!
