Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 24
This is a tremendously uplifting psalm, teaching how to enter God’s presence! V.3-4a says, “Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false…” Cleanliness, purity and not being deceived by false news are very important!
Furthermore, v.7 says, “Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.” Lifting our heads means looking up to God in worship! Let’s do that so that God comes in to our lives!

この詩篇は、神の御前に出る方法を教えてくれる、実に心を高揚させる詩篇です。3節から4節前半には、「だれが、主の山に登りえようか。だれが、その聖なる所に立ちえようか。手がきよく、心がきよらかな者、そのたましいをむなしいことに向けず･･･」とあります。清さ、純粋さ、そしてむなしいことに心を向けないことは、とても大切です。
さらに7節には、「門よ。おまえたちのかしらを上げよ。永遠の戸よ。上がれ。栄光の王が入って来られる」とあります。かしらを上げるということは、神を礼拝するということです。さあ、神が私たちの生活に入って来てくださるようにそうしましょう。

Devotion 2 of 2: Rom 8
This is one of the great chapters in the Bible on victorious Christian living. It emphasizes the work of the Holy Spirit in lifting us from the law of sin and death to life and peace (v.2, 6, 13).
V.17 says, “If (we’re) children, then (we’re) heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” I believe the LDR is part of our inheritance in Christ. But v.17 says we must also suffer, which means go through AC’s persecution, in order to be glorified in the LDR! Let’s do it!

17節には、「もし子どもであるなら、相続人でもあります。私たちがキリストと、栄光とをともに受けるために苦難をともにしているなら、私たちは神の相続人であり、キリストとの共同相続人であります」とあります。私は、終末リバイバルは私たちの相続財産の一部だと信じます。しかし、17節は、栄光を受けるために、苦難、つまり反キの迫害も受けなければならない、と述べています。恐れないで、そうしましょう！
