Devotion 1 of 2: Lev 18
This chapter prohibits various kinds of sexual behaviors, calling them wickedness (v.17), abomination (v.22) or perversion (v.23). But they are what the LGBTQ̟ Movement is propagating as acceptable!
In today’s clash of cultures, democracies embrace the LGBTQ Movement, but authoritarian regimes oppose them! Which side is right? V.25 gives the answer. The land is defiled by these sins and will eventually vomit them out! This is one reason God will end this world age and usher in the Millennium. Let’s pray for LGBTQ people!

この章では、様々な性的行為を禁じ、それらを破廉恥な行為（17節）、忌み嫌うべきなこと（22節）、あるいは道ならぬこと（23節）と呼んでいます。しかし、現代のLGBTQ運動はまさにそれらを容認すべきものとして広めているのです！
現代の文化の衝突において、民主主義国家はLGBTQ運動を受け入れていますが、権威主義体制はそれに反対しています。どちらが正しいのでしょうか？25節に答えがあります。この地はこれらの罪によって汚され、やがて吐き出されるでしょう！これが、神がこの世の時代を終わらせ、千年王国を到来させる理由の一つです。LGBTQの人々のために祈りましょう！

Devotion 2 of 2: Acts 18
This chapter describes Paul’s ministry in Corinth in v.1-18. One enigma in this chapter is that while v.8 says that Crispus was the ruler of the synagogue, v.17 says that it was Sosthenes! Was this a mistake?
Probably the answer is that the synagogue was the gathering place for Judaism, so when Crispus became a Christian (v.8), he had to quit his position as ruler of the synagogue, and Sosthenes was chosen to replace him.
So no, the Bible does not contradict itself; it’s based on facts which we can discover if we research thoroughly.

この章では、パウロのコリントでの宣教活動が1～18節に描かれています。この章の謎の一つは、8節ではクリスポが会堂長だったと書かれているのに、17節ではソステネが長だったと書かれていることです。これは間違いだったのでしょうか？
おそらく、会堂はユダヤ教の集会所だったので、クリスポがクリスチャンになった時（8節）、会堂長の地位を辞任しなければならず、ソステネが後任に選ばれたのでしょう。
