Devotion 1 of 2: Lev 16
The Messiah was prophesied about in the OT in 2 different forms, triumphant king and scapegoat (v.9-10). The Jews missed Jesus because they only saw the Messiah as the king, coming to save them from Roman domination. The same is true today as Christians only see Jesus coming to save them from AC and the tribulation.
But Jesus came 1st as scapegoat, as seen in parables: Animal killed for Adam’s covering, Passover lamb, etc., but Jews missed it! Let’s not miss it today! Let’s see Jesus, not as rescuing us from, but as giving us victory over, AC!

旧約では、メシヤは勝利の王と贖罪の山羊という二つの異なる形で預言されていました（9-10節）。ユダヤ人は、メシヤをローマの支配から救う王としてしか見ていなかったため、イエスを見逃してしまいました。今日でも、クリスチャンはイエスが反キと患難期から救出してくださるために来るとしか見ていないため、同じ失敗を繰り返しています。

Devotion 2 of 2: Acts 16
Acts 15:16-17 says that God will restore the fallen Tabernacle of David (DT) in order to save mankind. DT was a simple tent over the Ark of the Covenant. There the priests praised God continuously (1 Chron 16:1-6, 37-42).
In Acts 16, Paul and Silas demonstrated DT in real life. They set a girl free from evil spirits of divination and were beaten and thrown into prison for it (v.16-24). But in the prison, instead of complaining, they worshiped God (built DT)! So, God sent an earthquake, set them free and saved the Gentile jailer and his family (v.25-34)!

使徒16章では、パウロとシラスがDMとは何かを実際に示しました。彼らは占いの霊に取り憑かれた少女を解放したため、殴打され、牢獄に入れられました（16-24節）。しかし、牢獄の中で彼らは不平を言う代わりに、神を賛美しました（DMを建てた）。すると、神は地震を起こし、彼らを解放し、異邦人の看守とその家族を救ったのです（25-34節）。私たちも実生活にDMを建てよう！
