Devotion 1 of 2: Ex 35
To build MT, the Jews had to give several things to the Lord. The first was the Sabbath Day (v.1-3). They couldn’t work on that day; they had to surrender it to the Lord! Another was offering things of value, like gold, silver, linen, animal skins, acacia wood, oil, incense and precious stones (v.4-9). A 3rd was their skills (v.30-35).
When the people gave these willingly and freely, God used them to build MT, and filled it with His presence (Ex 40)! Let’s willingly give our time, skills and finances to the Lord, too, and watch Him build a glorious LDC!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ex 36
Chapters 36-38 describe the building of the tabernacle. Bezalel and Aholiab are examples of leaders who inspire other artisans to serve God, which, in turn, inspires all the people to give their best to the Lord (v.2-5)! The result is that all the needs of the building project were filled with much left over (v.5-7)!
When we all give with joy and liberality, all the needs of the church will be filled, and God’s glory shine forth!

36章から38章には、幕屋の建設について記されています。ベツァレルとアホリアブは、他の職人たちに神に仕えるよう鼓舞した指導者の模範であり、それがひいては民衆全体に、主のために最善を尽くすよう促しました（2-5節）。その結果、建設に必要な物資はすべて満たされ、なお余りが出ました（5-7節）。
