Devotion 1 of 2: Job 9
In this chapter Job expresses his feelings of helplessness in questioning or arguing or defending himself before God (v.1-4, 11-20, 32-35). Job is expressing how the majority of people feel.
But chapters 1 and 2 open the curtains to what happens in heaven, which we would normally not understand at all! Because we can see how Satan always attacks mankind to pull us away from God, and how God is counting on us to resist Satan’s attacks and stay loyal to Him, we know the right response to adversities in our life!
Let’s be faithful to God, even when Satan puts severe pressure on us!

この章でヨブは、神の前で疑問を呈したり、議論したり、弁明したりすることの無力感を表現しています（1-4節、11-20節、32-35節）。ヨブは大多数の人々が抱く感情を表現しているのです。

Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 5
We are called to save Japan and the world. By God’s grace, it will happen! There are many ways to lead souls to Christ. Miracles and healing are powerful tools that will shatter unbelief and open up hard hearts to Jesus!
Another powerful way of evangelism is through our character and lifestyle. V.14 says, “You are the light of the world...” And v.16 goes on, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Let’s work on our character and behavior so that many Japanese will be won to Christ!

私たちは日本と世界を救うよう召されています。神の恵みによって、それは実現するでしょう！魂をキリストへと導く方法はたくさんあります。奇跡と癒しは、不信仰を打ち砕き、かたくなな心をイエスへと開く力強い手段です。
もう一つの効果的な伝道方法は、人格と生き方を通してです。14節には「あなたがたは、世の光です…」とあります。そして16節には、「このように、あなたがたの光を人々の前で輝かせ、人々があなたがたの良い行いを見て、天におられる･･･父をあがめるようにしなさい」とあります。多くの日本人がキリストに導かれるように、私たちの人格と行動を磨きましょう。
