Devotion 1 of 2: Zech 7
V.2-3 say that some men were sent to the house of God and asked should they weep, pray and fast in the 5th month as they had done for many years? The Lord’s answer was that instead of fasting, they should obey God to not do evil to others but to do good (v.4-10).
But Israel refused to hear God’s words, so He scattered them among the nations (v.11-14)! This prophecy was fulfilled in 70 AD, when Rome destroyed Judea and scattered the Jews throughout the Roman Empire.
Endtime application: Israel fasted but didn’t obey what God said through His prophets (v.12). This is a warning that living the Christian life without obeying the OT prophets will lead to defeat and suffering! I believe this applies to how we need to follow the OT prophets’ teachings about God’s plan to restore the church!

2-3節には、ある人々が神の家に遣わされ、長年行ってきたように、5月に泣き、祈り、断食すべきかと尋ねられたことが記されています。主の答えは、断食する代わりに、神に従い、他人に悪を行わず、善を行うようにというものでした（4-10節）。
しかし、イスラエルは神の言葉を聞くことを拒んだため、神は彼らを諸国民に散らされました（11-14節）。この預言は西暦70年に成就しました。ローマがユダヤを滅ぼし、ユダヤ人をローマ帝国中に散らしたのです。
終末への適用：イスラエルは断食しましたが、神が預言者を通して言われたことに従わなかったのです（12節）。これは、信仰生活をしていても、旧約の預言者に従わないことは、敗北と苦しみにつながるという警告です。これは、教会を回復するための神の計画について、旧約の預言者たちの教えを私たちが学び、従うべきということに当てはまると信じます。
Devotion 2 of 2: Rev 11
This chapter is the key to understanding God’s plan for the endtime! It describes the 2 witnesses, the Elijah and Moses Church (v.6)! The Jews didn’t realize John the Baptist was Elijah and therefore, rejected Jesus as Messiah! In the same way, if Christians don’t understand the LDC is Elijah, they will miss Jesus’ rapture coming!
The 2 witnesses will prophesy for 3.5 years (v.3). This is the LDR during the 1st half of the tribulation (T1). In the middle of the 7-year tribulation, the beast will kill them (v.7). Rev 13:7 says the beast (AC) will kill the saints, so we know the 2 witnesses are the saints, the LDC.
3.5 days after being martyred, the 2 witnesses will rise from the dead then be raptured (v.11-12). This is the rapture of the church! Believers will know when it will happen; but to unbelievers, it will be like a thief at midnight!

この章は、神の終末計画を理解する鍵です！二人の証人、エリヤとモーセ教会について説明しています（6節）。ユダヤ人はバプテスマのヨハネがエリヤであることを知らなかったので、イエスをメシアとして拒絶しました！同様に、クリスチャンは終末教会がエリヤであることを理解しなければ、イエスの携挙のための来臨を見逃してしまいます！
二人の証人は3年半預言します（3節）。これは、患難時代の前半（T1）における終末リバイバルです。7年間の患難時代の真ん中に、獣（反キ）が彼らを殺します（7節）。黙13:7には、獣が聖徒たちを殺すと記されています。つまり、二人の証人が聖徒たち、終末教会であることがわかります。
殉教から3日半後、二人の証人は死から蘇り、携挙されます（11-12節）。これは教会の携挙です！信者はそれがいつ起こるか知っていますが、未信者にとっては全く予期しない真夜中の盗人のようなものです！
