Devotion 1 of 2: Hag 1
Haggai was a prophet to Judah in the 6th century BC. He was used by God to prophesy to the Jews who had returned to Jerusalem from exile. He prophesied to stir them up to overcome opposition from the enemy and finish rebuilding the temple (v.8-15, Ezra 6:14).
Endtime application: As we seek God to restore the church, we, too, face much opposition from our enemy, Satan. He wants to make us give up! So, like Haggai, God has sent us His prophets to stir up our faith to continue restoring the church! The prophets God sends to us in the endtime are the prophets who wrote the OT Scriptures!
Let us earnestly study the OT prophets so that we can understand God’s plan to restore the church!

終末への適用： 教会を回復してくださるよう神に求める私たちも、敵であるサタンからの多くの反対に直面します。サタンは私たちを諦めさせようとします。ですから、ハガイのように、神は私たちの信仰を奮い立たせ、教会の回復を続けさせるために、預言者たちを遣わしてくださいました。神が終末に遣わす預言者とは、旧約聖書を記した預言者たちです。
教会を回復するための神の計画を理解するために、旧約の預言者たちを真剣に学びましょう。
Devotion 2 of 2: Rev 3
This chapter describes the last 3 of the 7 churches in Rev. The 5th church is Sardis (v.1-6), symbolized by the Protestant Church (1500-20??). Through the Reformation this church became alive, but they died through denominational organizations. They will continue until Jesus returns, but many will not watch and not know.
The 6th church is Philadelphia (v.7-13), a picture of the LDC (1st 3.5 years of tribulation). They have the key of David, vibrant praise, and will restore the Tabernacle of David (Acts 15:16-17). They will persevere against AC, so they will be raptured when Jesus returns mid-trib and will be kept from the hour of trial, the last half of the tribulation.
The 7th church is Laodicea (v.14-22), the lukewarm church (7 years of tribulation). Through AC’s persecution, many will become cold and worship AC, but some will become like gold refined in fire and join the LDR!

この章では、黙示録に記されている7つの教会のうち、最後の3つの教会について説明しています。第5の教会はサルデス（1-6節）で、プロテスタント教会（1500-20??）に象徴されます。宗教改革を通してこの教会は生き返りましたが、教団組織等によって命を失いました。彼らはイエスの再臨まで存続しますが、多くの者は目を覚まさなくて、いつかは分かりません。
第6の教会はフィラデルフィア（7-13節）であり、終末教会（患難期の前半）の象徴です。彼らはダビデの鍵である賛美の盛んな教会であり、回復されたダビデの幕屋教会になります（使15:16-17）。彼らは反キの迫害に忍耐するため、イエスが患難期中に再臨される時に携挙され、患難期後半である全世界に臨む試練から守られるのです。
