Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 119

The Bible prophesies that many believers will fall away from the faith in the last days. Matt 24:10 says, “…many will be offended...” 2 Thes 2:3 warns, “…that Day (of Jesus’ coming to rapture the church) will not come unless the falling away comes first…” Finally, 1 Tim 4:1 states, “…in later times some will depart from the faith…”
Many Christians will stumble and leave the faith! Why? One possible reason is that they will bow down to AC’s (antichrist’s) image because if they don’t, they will be killed (Rev 13:15)! Most of these believers likely never prepared to face persecution from AC. Probably they were taught that Jesus would rapture them before AC appeared so they didn’t need to worry.
So, how can we stop from stumbling and falling away from Jesus? V.165 says, “Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.” If we love the law, or the Word of God, nothing can cause us to stumble!
I believe loving God’s Word includes studying difficult topics like endtimes. Beside the above teaching of the Pre-trib rapture, there are other rapture teachings, like Mid-trib, Post-trib, and Pre-wrath. These all teach that the church will face persecution from AC and must overcome that before the rapture. So, these teachings try to prepare believers to overcome persecution or to be willing to face martyrdom by being faithful to Christ to the end.
So, let’s love God’s Word! That means to dig in and study difficult topics, like the rapture! I believe He wants us to understand the endtimes so that we will not stumble and fall away!

聖書は、終わりの日に多くの信者が信仰から離れると預言している。マタイ24:10は、「･･･人々が大ぜいつまづき･･･」とある。2テサ2:3は、「･･･まず背教が起こり･･･」と警告している。最後に、1テモ4:1は、「ある人たちは･･･信仰から離れるようになります。」と述べている。
多くのクリスチャンがつまずき、信仰から離れる！なぜでしょうか？一つの考えられる理由は、彼らが反キの像にひれ伏すだろうということだ。そうしなければ、彼らは殺されてしまうからだ(黙13:15)！これらの信者のほとんどは、反キからの迫害に直面する準備をしたことがなかったのだろう。おそらく彼らは、反キが現れる前にイエスが彼らを携挙されるので、心配する必要はないと教えられたのだろう。
では、どうすればイエスから離れ、つまずかないようにできるのだろうか？165節には、「あなたのみおしえを愛する者には豊かな平和があり、つまずきがありません」とある。もし私たちが神の言葉を愛するなら、何一つ私たちをつまずかせるものはない！
御言葉を愛するということは、終末のような難しい主題を学ぶことも含まれると私は信じる。上記の患難前携挙の教えの他にも、患難中期、患難後、御怒り前などの携挙の教えがある。これらはすべて、教会は反キからの迫害に直面し、携挙の前にそれを克服しなければならないと教えている。つまり、これらの教えは、キリストに最後まで忠実であることによって、迫害に打ち勝ったり、殉教に直面することを厭わないように、信者に備えさせようとしているのだ。
だから、神の御言葉を愛そう！つまり、携挙のような難しい主題を掘り下げて研究することだ！私たちがつまずいたり、背教したりしないように、主は私たちに終末を理解してほしいと願っておられると思います！

Devotion 2 of 2: Rev 22

This is the final chapter of Revelation and of the whole Bible. When I read this chapter, I received inspiration particularly from v.7, “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
We believe that Jesus is coming soon. If we do, then we should endeavor to keep the prophecies of the book of Revelation. But many Christians believe they don’t understand this complicated endtime book! I also thought like that for many years, so I didn’t try to study it seriously.
But recently I have changed, and now I believe that God wants us to understand Revelation, otherwise, He would not have written it and given it to us! He also commands us to keep the words of the prophecy of this book, but how can we do that if we don’t understand it? I believe as we study this book, believing that God wants us to understand it, He will begin to reveal its precious secrets to us! Amen!

黙22章：自由な分かち合い
この章は黙示録の最終章であり、聖書全体の最終章でもある。この章を読んだ時、私は特に7節からインスピレーションを受けた！「見よ。わたしはすぐに来る。この書の預言のことばを堅く守る者は、幸いである。」
私たちは、イエスが間もなく来られると信じている。そうであるならば、黙示録の預言を守るように努めるべきである。しかし、多くのクリスチャンは、この複雑な終末の書を理解していないと思っている！私も長年そう思っていたので、真剣に勉強しようとはしなかった。
しかし最近私は変わった。そして今では、神は私たちに黙示録を理解して欲しいと望んでいるのだと信じている。そうでなければ、神は黙示録を書かれ、私たちにお与えにならなかっただろう！神はまた、この書の預言の言葉を守るよう私たちに命じておられる。しかし、理解していなければ、どうやってそれを実行できるのだろうか?神が私たちにこの書物を理解することを望んでおられると信じて、この書物を学ぶとき、神がその貴重な奥義を明らかにし始めると信じます！アーメン！
