Devotion 1 of 1: Ps 102
I would like to take v.12-22 and apply them to the LDR.
*v.13 “You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, yes, the set time, has come.” Zion here represents the LDC. There is a set time when God will release the LDR and transform the church to become the LDC.
*v.16 “For the Lord shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory.” Jesus will completely restore the church and make it the LDC (Zion), then He will return in glory to rapture the church in midtrib.
*v.18 “This will be written for the generation to come, that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord.” This is a prophecy of the praise revival that is happening now around the world. Praise will prepare the way for the Lord’s rapture coming! (Ps 68:3-4)
*v.20 “To hear the groaning of the prisoner, to release those appointed to death.” This has 2 applications.
1) Church: Will go through persecution from AC; will groan; will be released from dying to be raptured alive.
2) Israel: Attacked by AC’s army, close to destruction, only 1/3 alive, will groan, saved by Messiah!
Let’s be a people of prayer who groan because we’re dissatisfied and desire to see revival in the land!
JUDE 1: Free sharing!
I want to look at one verse in this chapter. It is v.5: “But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.”
What is this verse saying? It’s saying that God saved the Jews from Egypt, but destroyed them because of their unbelief! 1 Cor 10:11 says, “…they (the story of the Jews saved from Egypt) were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.” That means Jude 1:5 applies especially to the LDC!
So v.5 is a warning to the church today! It means God might have saved us out of the world, but He might allow us to be destroyed! The condition for that is if we don’t believe in God giving us the endtime Promised Land of: World-wide revival; the fully restored, glorious church; an uncountable number of people saved during the tribulation period (Rev 7:9-14); the fulfillment of all Bible promises, like John 14:12, Luke 10:19, etc.
In other words, we will die without entering the endtime PL, just as unbelieving Israel died in the wilderness without entering their PL! This is serious! God is not playing games! He’s telling us that we will be destroyed, I believe by the AC, and not enter into the endtime revival that’s He’s provided for us if we don’t believe it!
Let’s study the LDR! Let’s believe it! Then let’s tell other believers about it, so they can enter it, too!
