Devotion 1 of 1: Ps 92

V.1-2 say, “It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night…”
This means we should begin our day by declaring God’s lovingkindness, and we should end it at night by confessing His faithfulness! In other words, throughout the day we should be talking about how good and faithful God is, not complaining about how He doesn’t do what we want Him to do!
We don’t want to be the person in v.6, “A senseless man does not know, nor does a fool understand this.” Rather, we want to be the person in v.13-14, “Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing…” Amen!

JOHN 14: Free sharing!
There are 2 amazing promises in v.12-14: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
I believe that these 2 promises – that If we believe, we will do Jesus’ works, and whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, He will do it – are part of the many wonderful promises in the Bible that represent the Promised Land to Christians. And just as Israel journeyed from Egypt through the wilderness to the Promised Land, the church is being restored through the Protestant Reformation of 1517, the Azusa St. Revival of 1916, and the Last Day Revival (LDR) of 20??.
What will the LDR be? It will be the fulfillment of all of God’s promises in His Word to His people in the endtime. God’s promises have always been available to His people and have been partially fulfilled in the past, but in the LDR, those promises will be completely fulfilled.
Let’s believe that John 14:12-14 will be completely fulfilled through us! Let’s believe that we will do Jesus’ miraculous works in Japan and lead great multitudes to salvation in Jesus! And let’s believe that revival will certainly come to Japan!
