Devotion 1 of 2: Isa 24

This chapter describes great judgment upon the whole world, which no doubt applies to the great tribulation! Let’s learn a couple of things about this judgment.
1) v.2 All people will receive it, the rich and poor, the lower class and upper class, etc. *All have sinned and will receive the wages of their sins. Rom 3:23; 6:23
2) v.5-6 Judgment will come because the earth has been defiled, laws have been transgressed and broken, causing curse to devour the earth. *When Israel defiled Canaan, they were cast out of the land. In the LD, mankind’s sins will cause God to cut off mankind and end world history.
Let’s be a watchman on the wall and warn as many as possible of the approaching tribulation and judgment! Let’s try to save half of the people of Japan! Luke 17:36 Two were in the field, one was taken and the other left!

Devotion 2 of 2: Luke 24

This chapter is about the resurrection of Jesus. In v.44 he said, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”
The most important Scriptures in the Bible are about Jesus and God’s plan of salvation through sending His Son to earth to die for our sins. In the OT, there are many prophecies about the Christ coming and saving mankind. And after fulfilling the plan of God for man’s salvation, Jesus emphasized that he had to fulfill every promise that God gave.
The same can be said for the restoration of the church. God has spoken many times about his plan to raise up the fallen church to its original glory. And what is the purpose of that? To save many people all over the world in the last, great revival of world history!
So let’s believe God’s wonderful plan of restoring the church and saving millions of souls in the endtime! And let’s get involved by preparing for and praying for this great last day visitation from God! Hallelujah!
