Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 58
David shows his anger toward evil people in this psalm. He describes them as poisonous serpents (v.4) and young lions with fangs (v.6).
He prays to God that they will be judged and their blood spilled (v.9-10) so that others will see it and realize that God rewards the righteous and judges the wicked (v.11). This should be the biggest reason that we, too, desire for evil people to receive the judgment they deserve!
I believe this applies to the USA. Christians oppose abortion and the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer) lifestyle. So that‘s why they usually vote for the Republican party and oppose the Democratic party.

But Donald Trump is the leader of the Republican party, and his lifestyle is completely opposite of godly living. If he is elected president, he will create chaos and corruption, like the horrible January 6 insurrection at the Capital.
Joe Biden has stepped down as the Democratic party’s leader, and Kamala Harris will run for president. But the Democratic party is pushing for abortion and LGBTQ rights. If the Democrats win, and Kamala Harris becomes the 1st woman and also black-Asian president in American history, it will mean the U.S. will continue becoming a Sodom and Gomorrah country.
I believe the only thing for Christians to do is pray and evangelize. The U.S. is heading for collapse, like what happened to Sodom. So Christians should try to save AMPAP (As Many People As Possible). They should build LDCs like Noah’s ark and save AMPAP through powerful, revival churches!

Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Cor 14
This chapter teaches the importance of having God’s order in the church service. One error of the Corinth Church was that the believers all spoke in tongues to each other in their services, which stumbled unbelievers (v.23)!
So Paul admonished them if it’s not interpreted, tongues should not be spoken in the service (v.28). So some Christians believe Spirit-filled churches violate Scriptures if their members speak in tongues in church.
But I believe Paul is trying to stop EVERYONE SPEAKING IN TONGUES TO EACH OTHER AT THE SAME TIME, WHICH IS NOT GOD’S ORDER. But if some believers speak in tongues while everyone is praying or worshiping, I believe it’s not out of order, so God approves it.

Paul gives a similar command prohibiting women from speaking in church in v.34-35. Because of this Scripture do we stop all women from speaking in our services? No! Of course not! So what did Paul mean?
The early church divided the seating for women and men, and when a wife couldn’t understand the message, she would call out to her husband, asking for the meaning! Paul thought that was disruptive, and so he told the wives to be silent in church, and when they wanted to learn something, to ask their husbands at home, after the service!
Let’s always seek the Lord for the right understanding of Bible teaching!
