Devotion 1 of 2: Lev 26
This chapter describes God’s blessings and punishment upon Israel. One of God’s blessings appears in v.5: “Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing!”
What does this verse mean? It means that when God blesses Israel, they would have a continual flow of grain harvest (barley & wheat), followed by fruit harvest (grape & olive), followed by grain sowing! And it would continue on and on as long as they obeyed God!
The time frame would look like the following:
April: Barley threshing (harvest).
May: Wheat harvest.
July-Aug: Grape vintage (harvest).
Sept-Oct: Olive harvest.
Nov: Barley sowing.
Dec: Wheat sowing, then the whole process would repeat itself!
Let’s seek God for his continual flow of blessings in our lives, too!

Devotion 2 of 2: Acts 26
(2/2)
1) Festus thought Paul was crazy from studying too much and rejected his testimony (v.24), but King Agrippa read and believed the prophets of the OT, so he came close to believing in Jesus through Paul’s testimony (v.27-28)!
2) I think Paul made the right decision because he had the opportunity to preach the gospel and lead many to Christ in Rome, the capital of the Roman Empire and the most importance city in the world in that day (28:23-24, 30-31).
