Devotion 1 of 2: Lev 19
This chapter describes various laws. One that I found interesting was in v.23-25. God told Israel when they enter the land and plant trees for food, the fruit would be uncircumcised for 3 years, so they cannot eat it! Then the 4th years, the fruit would be holy, but it would be the Lord’s. Finally in the 5th year, they can eat! How did they survive 4 years without eating? I believe God provided by other means, because when we obey, he makes a way!

Devotion 2 of 2: Acts 19
(2/2)
1) When handkerchiefs and aprons from Paul were taken to sick people, evil spirits left, and the sick were healed (v.11-12)!
2) Paul could cast out evil spirits with great authority, but when the 7 sons of Sceva tried to imitate him, the evil spirit jumped on them and beat them up, so they ran away naked and wounded (v.13-16)!
3) Fear fell on the people, Jesus was magnified, and many believed, burning their books of magic, valued at 50,000 pieces of silver. Some scholars believe that meant about 50,000 converts in Ephesus!
