Devotion 1 of 1: Acts 2
When the disciples obeyed Jesus and waited and sought for the Holy Spirit to come and fill them, they were rewarded with a tremendous outpouring of the Spirit’s power, anointing and glory in v.1-4! Thousands heard the commotion and were drawn to the disciples because of the mighty miracle of them speaking in many languages of the regions the Hellenistic Jews were living in. Peter preached with powerful anointing, 3,000 got saved, and the revival started! We are in the same stage as the disciples before the Day of Pentecost!
