1) It was in the Holy Place (Ex 30:6). No, it was not a mistake. Because God is showing us that putting into practice the Incense Altar, which symbolizes prayer and worship (Rev 5:8; 2 Chron 32:12), is the way for the church to enter the Holy of Holies during the Day of Atonement Revival in the endtime!
2) Because the way into the Holiest was not yet made while the earthly tabernacle existed (v.8), but was made through Jesus’ sacrifice on Calvary (Heb 10:19-20) and because animal sacrifices could not make us perfect through redemption (v.9); only Jesus’ sacrifice could (v.14-15).

Devotion 2 of 2: Mic 2
God says in v.12 that he will gather the remnant of Israel. This promise was not fulfilled for northern Israel because they never returned from captivity in Assyria. So God is fulfilling this today in the restoration of Israel as a nation. This means there are descendants from northern Israel who are a part of modern Israel, and they will be saved when Jesus returns! Praise God that his promise is sure!
