Devotion 1 of 2: Heb 3
1) Israel tested God for 40 years by murmuring over and over again (v.9). Today, if we are always complaining, we, too, won’t be able to enter the promises of God!
2) Another reason was because of unbelief (v.12)! If we don’t believe God’s promises for us in the last days, we won’t be able to enter into God’s best!

Devotion 2 of 2: Obad 1
Edom did many bad things, like rejoice over Israel’s captivity and Judah’s destruction (v.12) and stand at the crossroads to cut off those who tried to escape and deliver up those who remained (v.14). God’s judgment on Edom was as they did, it shall be done to them (v.15)! This is why we never want to treat others badly, because it will come back to us!
