Devotion 1 of 2: Luke 14
1) He wanted to show the Pharisees that their laws about the Sabbath were wrong to give them a chance to change their legalistic thinking.
2) The Sabbath was meant to give man rest and blessings, not for man to have to serve the Sabbath by obeying so many laws about it.

Devotion 2 of 2: Prov 14
V.28 says, “In a multitude of people is the glory of a king.” I believe this verse applies to Jesus, the King of kings. So that’s why I believe Jesus will cause a tremendous revival in the endtime to bring in an uncountable multitude of people into God’s kingdom before the end of this world age! His glory and power will be revealed for all the world to see!
