Devotion 1 of 2: 2 Chron 17
Jehoshaphat serves as an example to us of how our lives can be if we are faithful to God and walk in his commandments (v.4). V.5 says the Lord established the kingdom in his hand! I believe if we walk in obedience to God, he will establish the LDC in Japan and the world and reap a great multitude of souls into the kingdom of God!

Devotion 2 of 2: 2 Chron 18
1) Jehoshaphat = innocent, simple and trusting. Ahab = cunning, manipulative and not trustworthy.
2) Jehoshaphat’s personality and faith in God saved him from getting killed (v.31-32). Ahab’s personality and disobedience to God prevented him from escaping alive as an arrow shot randomly struck and killed him (v.33-34)!
