Devotion 1 of 2: 2 Kings 1
Elijah twice called fire from heaven to consume the 50 men that the king had sent to fetch him. This is an illustration of the authority the LDC Elijah Church will have to topple their enemies with fire (Rev 11:5)!

Devotion 2 of 2: 2 Kings 2
1) They knew that Elijah would be taken away that day (theological knowledge) (v.3), but they didn’t follow Elijah like Elisha did (v.6), so Elisha told them to keep quiet! Also, they didn’t get the double portion anointing like Elisha did (v.9, 14)!
2) He followed Elijah (symbol of Jesus) to the end and kept his eyes on Elijah even when he was taken away by a whirlwind (v.10-12). If we follow Jesus and keep our eyes on him to the end, we, too, will receive the double portion anointing!
