Devotion 1 of 2: 1 Cor 4
1) They were rich and were living like kings (v.8), or upper class people, whereas, in their eyes, Paul and other apostles seemed foolish and weak, were poorly dressed and homeless (v.11), and looked like manual laborers (v.12) and scum and refuse (v.13)!
2) A) Because we only have wealth and status because we received them (v.7), so we should be humble and grateful, not proud and judgmental. And B) because our spiritual leaders birthed us or raised us up spiritually (v.15), so we owe them so much!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ezek 32
Egypt was attacked and destroyed by Babylon, another pagan nation. Something similar will happen in the endtime. Rev 17-18 says the beast’s confederation will have 7 heads and 10 horns with a harlot, Babylon, riding on top (Rev 17:3). The harlot is probably the world religious system that will cooperate with AC’s political system to rule the world. But the political system will one day turn against and destroy the religious system (17:16)! Later, AC’s political system will be destroyed by Jesus at his 2nd coming (19:19-21)! What man does always has division, but the LDC that God restores will have perfect John 17 unity!
