Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 15
This chapter contains the same message as Matt 5:13 about salt that loses its taste and is thrown out. A vine is for producing grapes and wine, but if it doesn’t fulfill that function, it is thrown into the fire to be burned (v.4-6). As Judah was burned to cleanse the land, so the church will be persecuted by AC to make it hot or cold and not to remain lukewarm! Let’s understand the purpose of God for allowing AC’s persecution and not try to escape from him but rather become hot in faith and grow in courage to stand up to him!

Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 15
1) a. She wanted her daughter to be delivered from the suffering and terror of being oppressed by a demon.
b. Jesus wanted to free the girl from her terror, hopelessness and suffering.
c. And Jesus responded to the mother’s never-give-up faith, which was demonstrated by the way she turned his negative words into something positive (v.26-27)!
2) The LDC will do the works of Jesus (John 14:12) and so the same results that Jesus saw, they will see also! Great crowds will join the LDC and bring their friends who also have needs, and when they are healed, they will all glorify Jesus (v.31)!
