Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 5
Ezekiel gives a dreadful prophecy in this chapter. He says parents will eat their children and vice-versa (v.10). Furthermore, he says 1/3 of the people will die by plague or famine, 1/3 by sword and 1/3 will be scattered! All this came to pass during Babylon’s siege against Jerusalem. So Ezekiel and Jeremiah prophesied similar messages, and in our day, their severe warnings would apply to the lukewarm Laodicean Church! Let’s be on fire for Jesus and try to help lukewarm believers to understand RR Vision and become hot also!

Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 5
1) The LDC as well as all Christians will be persecuted in the endtime by AC. But Jesus told us to rejoice. One reason is because for 3.5 years, God will supernaturally protect us from harm (Rev 11:5)! Another reason is because when we are finally martyred after 3.5 years (Rev 11:7), it will be our honor to give our lives for Jesus! And it will also lead to our greatest witness because we will be revived after 3.5 days and be raptured before the world (Rev 11:11-12)! Many will repent and believe in Jesus when they see that (Rev 11:13)!
2) Jesus fulfilled the Law, which man could not do. When we repent and accept Jesus, he takes our sins and gives us his righteousness! So through Christ, we have righteousness that surpasses the Pharisees, and therefore we can enter heaven (v.20)!
