Devotion 2 of 2: Jer 19
Sat, 3/18
Jer 19 sharing:
I feel like Jeremiah! The Lord seems to be saying from this passage that some Christians will not be prepared for antichrist’s persecution! While many will remain faithful to Jesus when antichrist threatens them with death if they don’t worship his image or take his mark, it seems like some will not and will compromise! These will not be taken in the rapture and will have to face the judgments and disasters of the great tribulation! They worshiped other gods by worshiping antichrist’s image (v.4). They burned their children as sacrifices by teaching them to follow antichrist (v.5). The counsel of Jerusalem (counsel of God) was made void (v.7) when they rejected endtime revival teachings! They will eat their children and friends (v.9) by betraying each other upon threat of the whole family will be killed if even one doesn’t take mark or worship the image! What a responsibility we have of warning Christians!
