2) The other Philistine leaders because they didn’t trust David and thought he would turn against them.
3) It was a very difficult situation for David. I think in the end, he wouldn’t have fought, but that would probably cause Amalek to attack him!
4) Not to fight because fighting would be betraying his nation.

Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Sam 30
1) They wept, then they talked of stoning David (v.6)!
2) He also wept, but then he found strength in the Lord (v.6). After that he inquired of God whether they should pursue Amalek or not, and when God said to go, he led his men to look for Amalek (v.7-9).
3) An Egyptian to whom they gave food and water (v.11-12). When we help others, often we receive help, too!
4) They stayed with the supplies (v.24), which made it easier for David’s men to pursue Amalek! So they contributed to the victory! Each member of the body of Christ has a different gift and function, and we should recognize and honor all members alike!
