Devotion 1 of 2: Judg 3
The 1st judge, Othniel, probably had an inferiority complex because he had a famous, courageous uncle, Caleb (v.9)! But when the Spirit of the Lord came on him, he was transformed into a powerful warrior who led Israel to victory against their oppressor, Aram (v.10)! Spiritual lesson: Although we have many weaknesses and may feel inadequate, let’s continually seek God so that the Holy Spirit will come upon us and transform us into powerful vessels who can overcome antichrist and be used in revival!

Devotion 2 of 2: Judg 4
Both Deborah and Jael were bold and courageous, while also seeming to maintain good relationships with men—their husbands and Barak, the commander of Israel’s army! I believe they show women will be used mightily by God in the endtime! Deborah was a prophetess who prophesied Barak would have victory over Sisera (v.6-7) and cooperated with his request that she go with him to battle (v.8-10). Jael was not afraid of Sisera, used wisdom to induce sleep by giving him milk and then killed him while he slept by driving a peg through his head (v.17-22)! Thus she fulfilled the prophecy of Gen 3:15 that Eve’s offspring would crush the serpent’s head!
