Devotion 2 of 2: Phil 3
If we link v.10-11 to Rev 11, which talks about the 2 witnesses (LDC), this is what we discover! “To know Christ” = The Christians who will know Christ will become the LDC! “Participation in his sufferings” = LDC will suffer persecution from antichrist (ac). “Becoming like him in his death” = As Christ was martyred on the cross, so LDC will be martyred by ac (Rev 11:7; 13:7). “Know the power of his resurrection” + “Attaining to the resurrection from the dead” = After 3.5 days, LDC will rise from the dead (Rev 11:8-11).
