Devotion 1 of 2: Gal 6
One lesson in restoring a believer who has fallen in sin is to have a burden for him (v.2) and talk to him! Another important point is we should be gentle and humble, never forgetting that we can easily be tempted and fall, too (v.1), so we should never act proudly or look down on the person.

Devotion 2 of 2: Isa 43
Verse 4 is a great verse in the Japanese Bible, but in English, it isn’t so anointed, so I would like to make my own translation of the 1st half of this verse based on the Japanese version: “You are precious and highly valuable in my sight because I love you.” I often apply this verse to the story of the Samaritan woman in John 4. She was rejected by everyone in her town and was thought of as worthless because of her 6 marriages and divorces. But Jesus thought of her as so highly valuable that he had to go through Samaria on his way to Galilee in order to meet her! And when she encountered the Lord, she was shocked that he didn’t reject or scorn her but treated her with respect and decency! And when she found out he was the Messiah, she was transformed into the most valuable person in her town because she became a revivalist and led her town to Jesus!
