Devotion 1 of 2: Deut 24
By studying Deut 24:19-22, I feel that God is very much concerned for people with needs, like foreigners, orphans and widows. Normally God doesn’t want us to waste food and other resources, but he tells Israel to be “imperfect or wasteful” in harvesting so they can leave some for the needy. In our lives, sometimes we, too, need to be “imperfect or wasteful” to give people extra space or freedom so they can be free from stress and concentrate on putting their life in order!

Devotion 2 of 2: Rom 8
Some keys for victorious Christian living found in Rom 8 are: 1) Live by the Spirit, not by the flesh (v.4). 2) Have a mind governed by the Spirit, not the flesh (v.6). 3) Have Christ and the Spirit living inside (v.10-11).
