Devotion 1 of 2: Acts 15
The problem that was discussed at the Jerusalem Council was whether to require Gentile believers to follow the laws of Moses (circumcision) or not (v.1-2). This issue was solved when James quoted Amos’ prophecy in v.16-18 and concluded that God was rebuilding David’s Tabernacle to save Gentiles, so they shouldn’t be required to follow Moses’ law (circumcision) (v.19). Hallelujah!

Devotion 2 of 2: Lev 15
I believe the meaning of unclean or impure here does not imply sin because bodily emissions are natural functions. Rather, it implies impure in hygiene, as in the expression unclean or “dirty clothes,” which is not sinful. Dirty clothes should be washed, and that is what God instructed Israel to do here (v.5-11, etc.).
