v.6 When Abraham asked for land to bury Sarah, the sons of Heth offered Abraham the choicest of their burial places. A grave should not be ugly, but nice, as a testimony of how we love and value our dead family and friends.

Devotion 2 of 2: Gen 24
1) v.3-4 Abraham required that his servant find a bride, not from the Canaanites, but from his family. God will find a bride for Christ, not out of the world, but out of believers.
2) v.5-8 The bride had to be willing to follow the servant to the Promised Land! The bride of Christ must be willing to enter the Promised Land! The church in the wilderness cannot become the bride!
3) v.14 The condition to be the bride would be having a heart of serving! When asked, she would give the servant a drink of water, and even though she wasn’t asked, she would give his camels water! Rebekah truly had a servant’s heart and fulfilled this condition in v.17-20!
