Devotion 1 of 1: Ps 25
This is a psalm asking God for deliverance and forgiveness. Often our sins cause us problems, so David asks God for forgiveness (v.7, 11, 18) as well as help against his enemies (v.2-3, 19, 22).
Like David, let’s put our trust in God, that he will both forgive us and give us victory over every difficult situation that we face!
PS 26: Free sharing!
When we walk in integrity and trust in the Lord, as David did in v.1, we can boldly ask the Lord to vindicate us so we will not slip! David describes his pureness of heart in this psalm, and for that reason, he can have assurance of God’s redemption and mercy (v.11).
Let’s also seek to have this kind of pure relationship with God!
