Devotion 1 of 2: Gen 25
Esau sold his firstborn birthright to Jacob for a meal, thereby despising his birthright (v.34). The reason was he was hungry, showing how his fleshly desires ruled his life more than spiritual values. So Esau lost his firstborn birthright, like Cain and Ishmael before him, and many others after him. We are called to be the Church of the Firstborn (Heb 12:22-23), so we should hold tightly to our spiritual values so we don’t lose our firstborn blessing as Esau did.

Devotion 2 of 2: Gen 26
In v.7, Isaac said his wife was his sister, just like Abraham had done. Although it was a lie, the motive was to protect his life, and in doing so, to protect Rebekah also. God didn’t punish Isaac just as He didn’t punish Abraham, so I think God is not rigid but flexible in judging our actions, even sometimes condoning lying if the reason justifies it.
