Devotion 1 of 1: Acts 1
In v.6, the disciples asked Jesus if he was going to restore the kingdom to Israel at that time! This shows they still did not understand the plan of God for the church to replace Israel as God’s main work on the earth for the next 1900 years! Yet, despite this huge lack of understanding, Jesus still continued using them in his new plan for the church, while slowly moving them into the new vision.
In applying this to the endtime, we can say that even if we don’t understand God’s plan completely, God will still use us and slowly move us into new understanding and the new vision as we follow his voice and leading! Let’s seek to have a pliable heart that will be sensitive to and follow his voice!
