Devotion 1 of 2: Ex 27
This chapter describes the Brazen Altar for sacrifices (v.1-8), the Outer Court (v.9-19), and the olive oil for the Lampstand (v.20-21).
The Brazen Altar is a picture of the cross of Christ and salvation because that’s where sacrifices were offered for the forgiveness of sins.
The Outer Court also represents salvation as well as the Protestant Reformation, while the Holy Place symbolizes the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the Pentecostal Movement while the Holy of Holies pictures full maturity and the LDR.
We should seek to experience all that MT teaches us about God’s plan for us!
