Devotion 1 of 1: Ex 21
V.7-11 deal with the rights of daughters sold as slaves by their fathers. God gave laws that protected the poor and weak so they wouldn’t be abused by the rich and powerful. Praise God for his love!
EX 22 answer:
I agree with v.29-30. In these verses, God commanded the Jews to offer the firstfruit of the harvest and the firstborn of the livestock to him. This represents our tithe in the NT, which, if we do, God will bless our finances. God also commanded giving the firstborn son to him. I believe this represents all Christians giving themselves to God and serving him as NT priests (1 Pet 2:9).
