Devotion 1 of 2: Hag 2
In v.9, Haggai makes this awesome prophecy: “The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former.” It was not fulfilled by the physical temple that the people restored because the first temple was gold-covered Solomon’s Temple, one of the most beautiful and valuable buildings in history! Does that make this prophecy a lie? No! The true fulfillment will not be a physical structure, but the spiritual temple of God—the church! God will restore the LDC so that it will be greater in glory, power, and love than the 1st century church was! Let’s believe this prophecy and work with God to make the LDC a truly glorious church that will lead millions to Christ’s salvation!

Devotion 2 of 2: Rev 4
Pretrib rapture Christians believe the words, “Come up here” in v.2 means the rapture, and what is written after that shows what will take place in heaven and earth during the 7-year tribulation and beyond. They believe the church does not appear on earth after Rev 4. I believe in the midtrib rapture, and I think the church can be seen several places on earth after this chapter, like: 7:9-17; 11:1-13; and 13:7.
