Devotion 1 of 2: Hos 6
I think v.3 is a flash of prophetic light, telling us that the Lord will come like the former and latter rain! This was fulfilled when Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit upon the first church on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2 and upon the 20th century church in 1906 at Azusa Street in LA! Praise the Lord! Let’s share the wonderful blessing of the baptism of the Holy Spirit to many Christians who are searching for the truth!

Devotion 2 of 2: John 6
1) Because the Jews thought Jesus would be the Messiah king who would lead them to overthrow Roman rule and restore their independent kingdom nation.
2) Jesus separated from the people by going to the mountain alone (v.15) because it wasn’t God’s will to restore Israel’s kingdom. Jesus knew his kingdom would be spiritual; it would be the church, reaching Jews and Gentiles, until he returns to the earth.
