Devotion 2 of 2: Esth 2
1) Hegai = the Holy Spirit (Took care of Esther. 2:8-9); Mordecai = Pastor, 5-fold ministry, leaders (Raised up Esther. 2:7); Esther = Obedient church, True bride, LDC (Obeyed Hegai & Mordecai. 2:15, 20)
2) Because she was beautiful not only on the outside (v.7) but the inside as well! She had a heart of obedience to Mordecai (v.10, 20) and Hegai (v.8-9, 15). To become the bride of Christ and LDC, we need to purify our heart, respect our spiritual leaders and recognize and obey the Holy Spirit.
