Devotion 1 of 2: Neh 3
1) The people worked in unity, everyone doing his part, to successfully restore the walls and gates of Jerusalem! I’m reminded of Eph 4:11-16: Jesus gave the 5-fold ministry to equip the saints to do the work of ministry. And we will grow up to be like Christ when every joint supplies and every part does its share.
2) The way the LDC will be restored is by every member of the body equipped and fully engaged in ministry to build a powerful and united church that brings forth world revival in the last days!

Devotion 2 of 2: Neh 4
1) The enemy threatened to kill the Jews to stop their work (v.11). When Nehemiah heard that, he encouraged the people not to fear but to remember the Lord great and awesome and to fight for each other (v.14). He also made half of the people work and half hold weapons to be ready to fight (v.16).
2) AC will threaten to kill Christians but we should not fear him but prepare to both build the church and fight in battle. Rev 11:5 says the LDC will defeat those who try to harm them!
